- Log in as a local administrator with full rights. ( (Windows-Control Panel-User Accounts-"user account"-"Change your account type"-"Administrator").
- Go to "https://download.respondus.com/lockdown/download.php?id=175754166". This link is specific for Ethos School.
- Download the LockDown Browser installer by clicking the download button on the right.
- Download the LockDown Browser installer package. It will be in the form of "LockDownBrowser-2-1-2-10-175754166.exe".
- Locate the installer package in your Downloads folder and run it.
- Accept all the default prompts to install LockDown Browser.
- Once the lockdown browser is installed you will launch your exam/quiz from your standard browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) log in to the LMS, and then use the "Launch LockDown Browser" button on the quiz summary page.
